A four-day meditative treat that will bathe your spirit, mind and senses, visiting attractions on Hokaido island created specifically for this purpose. It includes visits to two quite remarkable sculpture parks, access to thermal springs and locally grown traditional cuisine. There will be a chance to explore backstage at one of the best concert halls in the world before a concert by The Sapporo Symphony Orchestra.
Day 1, Wednesday
Arriving at the Sapporo New Chitose Airport, a private transfer is there to take you to the Suizantei Club Jyozankei hotel, booked for your 3 night stay. Being a traditional onsen spa hotel,
you will have the full facilities of the hot thermal spring baths to relax with and enjoy while you are there.
Day 2, Thursday
A private transfer will take you to visit the Kan Yasuda Sculpture Museum Arte Piazza Bibai with a personal guide. A sanctuary of tranquillity, the artworks are not only a meditative visual experience, but also an auditory one intended to encourage visitors to recognize the meanings of time and space within themselves. Having spent the morning being inspired, you will now have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with this inspiration in a private sculpture class on site, hosted by a master sculptor.
Day 3, Friday
Your art pilgrimage continues, this time to Moerenuma Park also with your own private guide and transport. Its fountains and hills form many geometric shapes which are a fusion of nature and art.
The concert will be preceded by a tour of the Kitara hall. They say the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra is distinguished by its clear sound and its dynamic power of expression that are inspired by Hokkaido’s vast natural beauty and charm.
The programme of the concert that starts at 19:00 will be announced in due course.
Day 4, Saturday
After your delicious breakfast of local delicacies, you will be taken by private transfer from the hotel to the Sapporo New Chitose Airport .
