Blake Works I, William Forsythe’s most recent creation at the Palais Garnier is created on a selection of songs by the composer James Blake. A choreography that excels in speed and energy it underlines, once again, the way in which William Forsythe plays with traditional dance language. The Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto explores our evolving world and questions the passage of time. Accompanied by the Italian choreographer, Alessio Silvestrin, this is his first piece for the dancers of the Paris Opera.
