From its inception in 1994, Salar has been characterized by its strong curatorial direction and vision. From promoting the local art scene and supporting emerging talents, through being the studio of renowned artist Gastón Ugalde, it has evolved into a gallery that operates on a global scale and represents a select group of international artists and artist’s estates at various art fairs and exhibitions in America, Asia and Europe. Since becoming a member of PSH Projects in In 2011 and in 2015 founding the Indiana Bond Gallery, it now has operations in Bogotá and Miami, in addition to its its La Paz home.
