- Rain water harvesting – the unit runs on this water source throughout the year.

- Using locally procured dried Coconut leaf thatch for our roofs.

- Empowering local culture and traditions by showcasing them at events arranged for on site for our guests.
- Preserving & encouraging the local village communities to continue the practice of what is a dying out local craft i.e: making Coconut leaf roof thatch and using it for roofing.
- Weekly free yoga class in local school.
- Creating Employment by giving preference to the local community and subsidising the training certification for local candidates who apply to become therapists.
