Day 1: TO CAIRO
Departure with the international flight to Cairo. Our representative will welcome you upon arrival and will assist with the completion of all airport formalities and entry visa issue. Private transfer to Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo Hotel offering a splendid view of the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Check-in in the reserved room.

Day 2: CAIRO
Breakfast. The day begins with an unparalleled journey through history at the breathtaking Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), majestically set in the Valley of Giza guided by our expert Egyptologist. Entering the museum through an esplanade of 20,000 square meters, paved with granite from Aswan and dominated by a suspended obelisk of Ramses II, one encounter the colossal statues of Ramses II, Ptolemy II, and Arsinoe, which triumph in the atrium of the majestic building whose façade is constructed of glass, marble, and translucent alabaster stone. The visit continues with the Grand Staircase and the entire “Collection of Tutankhamun”, with more than 5,000 artifacts displayed together for the first time, including the celebrated golden mask. Within a specially dedicated museum building, the Solar Boat of Khufu will be exhibited, fully restored and presented in its majestic integrity. At the same time, there will be the opportunity to observe the restoration process of a second solar boat, through a glass wall that allows a direct and immersive view of the conservation activities. Lunch on your own, with the option to dine at the elegant “139 Pavilion Restaurant” in the historic Marriott Mena House Hotel, with stunning views of the Pyramids or at Zeeyara Pyramids Elite, a more relaxed venue, with a wonderful panoramic outlook over the Pyramids. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: TO CAIRO- LUXOR
Breakfast. Check-out and transfer to Cairo airport in due time for the departure of the domestic flight to Luxor. Airport assistance upon arrival. Beginning of the visit of the majestic complex of Karnak. Transfer to Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa. Nestled along the bank of the Nile, a short distance from the impressive Karnak Temple, the resort combines modern elegance with traditional Egyptian charm offering breathtaking views of the Theban West Bank and the surrounding lush gardens. Check [1] in. Lunch at your own and leisure afternoon. At sunset visit of the evocative Luxor Temple beautifully illuminated in the evening. Dinner at your own and overnight in the hotel.

Day 4: LUXOR – ESNA
Breakfast. Check out. Early morning visit to the Theban Necropolis, located on the West Bank of the Nile, with the magnificent Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. After that, embarkation on the Dahabiah “Nawara” and check into the reserved cabin. Lunch on board. Beginning of the relaxing navigation towards Esna, as the landscape unfolds in perfect harmony, gracefully blending lush riverbanks with golden sands and captivating the eye with timeless beauty. The journey continues with the scenic passage through the Esna Lock, built in the 1960s to regulate the Nile’s water levels and facilitate smooth river navigation between Luxor and Aswan. Dinner on board and overnight.

Day 5: EDFU – BASSAW – DJEBEL SILSILA
Breakfast on board as the vessel glides toward Edfu. Upon arrival, visit to the magnificent Temple, dedicated to the worship of the god Horus and one of the most striking and best preserved monuments of ancient Egypt. Return to the vessel and step into the chef’s role with a traditional cooking lesson, an engaging experience that unveils the rich flavors and timeless techniques of Egyptian cuisine. Lunch while sailing to Bassaw. Visit of an authentic village, where the essence of life along the Nile is revealed through customs and wisdom handed down across generations. The sailing then proceeds toward Djebel Silsila, an important quarrying site from earliest times on the west bank of the Nile, offering a plentiful supply of good quality sandstone for the construction of the monuments and as well a vital strategic trading point on the boundaries between Egypt and Nubia. Dinner on board surrounded by the serene beauty of the river beneath the starlit sky and overnight stay.

Day 6: KOM OMBO – HERDIAB
Breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival and visit of the Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two triads of deities Sobek, the crocodile god and Haroeris, the god Horus. Lunch on board while sailing to Herdiab. The afternoon brings a visit to Herdiab Island, a place where traditional farming methods are still preserved, offering a glimpse into authentic rural life along the Nile. A refreshing swim in the Nile may be enjoyed, followed by relaxing moments on the island’s sandy beach, perfect for unwinding in a natural setting. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: HERDIAB – ASWAN
Breakfast. Relaxing sailing to Aswan. Lunch. In the early afternoon visit to the magnificent Philae Temple complex dedicated to the cult of Isis and renowned for its artistic refinement (motorboat transfer). The temple was miraculously salvaged from the Nile water and relocated to the higher Agilika Island by the UNESCO “greatest archaeological rescue campaign of all the time”, between 1972 & 1980. The romantic and majestic aura surrounding the Isis temple complex on the island of Philae has been luring pilgrims for thousands of years. Return on board. Dinner, followed by a Galabeya Party, a festive evening celebrating local traditions with music, and folkloristic show. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: ASWAN – CAIRO – LATVIA
Breakfast. The cabin should be released after breakfast. Check-out and transfer to Aswan airport in due time for the departure of the domestic flight to Cairo. Assistance in Cairo airport for the departure of the international flight.
