Ginette Cachin Signac (1913-1980), daughter of the French Neo-Impressionist painter Paul Signac is renown for her refined water colours. Echoes of Monet, Sisley and other impressionists can be discerned in her father’s, as well as her own works. Inspired by Paul Signac’s sailing adventures, in her print Saint Tropez, she gives a dynamic representation of sails and evokes a deep blue story of a Riviera night.
